Energy efficiency solutions within the Energy Efficiency Design Index framework.

Bulk carrier hull model with a bulbous bow on lines plan drawings in a ship design office
STANDARDS
  • MARPOL Annex VI
  • IMO EEDI

Overview

EEDI is the IMO standard for new ships of 400 GT and above under MARPOL Annex VI: design CO₂ per tonne-mile must not exceed the required value for the ship's type and size, tightened in phases since 2013. Ships in service are covered by EEXI and the annual CII rating. We offer energy efficiency solutions within this framework.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Aligned with IMO EEDI requirements
  • Lower fuel consumption and CO₂
  • Efficiency from the design stage
